The Communications and Marketing Office of the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology received a Bronze Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) for the "Invent Tomorrow" series of recruiting publications. The School of Mines received the award from CASE during the council's District VI awards program on January 14 in Denver.

"We are very pleased by the recognition of the hard work of our dedicated staff," Dr. Charles Ruch, School of Mines president, said. "Congratulations go to them for their efforts in producing publications that reflect the excellence of a School of Mines education."

The award in the Student Recruitment Series catagory recognizes the School of Mines' Invent Tomorrow series of publications, which include the Viewbook, Travel Brochure, Search Brochure, and various recruitment postcards. The award is shared by Breanna Bishop, public information coordinator, Melinda Poyourow, publications manager, and Mitch Vander Vorst. director of communications.

CASE District VI includes institutions in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming, such as the University of Colorado, Iowa State University, University of Kansas, the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and more.
