The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology will host the 2008 West River Math Contest Monday, May 12. More than 300 people - junior high and high school students and teachers - will come to campus to participate in the annual contest. Students compete in five divisions: Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Advanced Math and Master's.
The day will begin with a general meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the Surbeck Ballroom, with testing from 10-11:30 a.m. The awards ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the Subeck Ballroom.
