The 59th annual West River Math Contest was held on the School of Mines campus on Monday, May 11, 2009. More than 400 students participated, representing 23 different schools.
The awards for Best Team Performance went to Hot Springs in class B and Chadron in class A. In each division, prizes are awarded for 1st-5th place in class A and in class B. An award is also presented to the individual earning the highest score in the division - that is, the best of both Class A and Class B. In the results below, that person's name is labeled with an asterisk.
