The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology's Museum of Geology will be hosting a "Dinosaur Extravaganza" Saturday, April 4.
The day will begin with a Dinosaur Egg Hunt at 12:30 p.m., followed by fun, hands-on activities from 1-4 p.m. The event will be held in the Museum of Geology, located on the School of Mines campus. The extravaganza is staffed and coordinated by members of the School of Mines Paleontology Club.
This special event is free and open to the public, including children of all ages. The Museum is also offering a 10 percent discount at the gift shop with the donation of a canned good for the Community Food Bank. To sign up, call (605) 394-2467. Walk-ins are welcome.
