School of Mines to Host Tight Market Job Search Session -- Released March 3, 2009

The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology will host "Tight Market Job Search: Advice from a Former Recruiter" Thursday, Mar. 5. The event will be held 4-5 p.m. in the McKeel Room of the Surbeck Center.

The session will be led by Doug Aldrich, a 1962 and 1968 graduate of the School of Mines who spent 30 years recruiting for Dow Corning. Aldrich will speak about how to put education and communication skills to use in a tight job market.

The session is free and open to the public.
