Members of South Dakota School of Mines and Technology CAMP teams will be at the Rushmore Mall Saturday, Jan. 31 and Sunday, Feb. 1 to display their projects.
CAMP is the Center of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing and Production. The Center is designed to teach students engineering, science and design skills, as well as the ability to work in teams. Team members design, build, market and raise the money for their projects.
CAMP projects on display will include the aero design, mini-Baja, clean snowmobile, formula SAE, concrete canoe, steel bridge, supermilage SAE, human-powered vehicle, HAM radio, robotics, chemical engineering car, and unmanned aerial vehicle. Student team members will be available to explain their projects to visitors.
Projects will be on display during mall hours Saturday and Sunday.
