School of Mines to Host “Three Voices” -- Released January 28, 2008

The South Dakota School of Mines and Technology will host "Three Voices", a historical interpretation of events leading up to the massacre at Wounded Knee Creek in 1890, Thursday, January 31 at 7 p.m. The event will be held in the Surbeck Center Ballroom and is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Throughout "Three Voices", performers Jerry Goes in Center, Joyce Jefferson and Lilah Pengra portray three conflicting views of Wounded Knee. The event is sponsored by the School of Mines Office of Multicultural Affairs and the South Dakota Humanities Council.
