Dr. P.V. Sundareshwar, assistant professor, atmospheric sciences, has been named a Revolutionary Mind for 2007 by Seed Magazine. Last year, the magazine launched its Revolutionary Minds series, which profiles emerging thought leaders of our culture -- people who are influencing the way we see our world, our selves, our minds and our universe.
For this third installment of the series, the magazine looked within the scientific community for people whose ideas have the potential to create social change. They canvassed the scientific community, journals and blogs and tapped their circle of editors, finally identifying eight young researchers who they felt fit this description.
The series will appear in the October issue of the magazine. For more information, visit www.seedmagazine.com. You can also download the article (PDF).
